Would ChatGPT Tool change the world-Literally?

Man in front of labtop, CHATGPT and AI

An AI tool ChatGPT is coming for classrooms, hospitals, marketing departments, and everything else as the next great start-up boom emerges.

Generative artificial intelligence, tech that can invent virtually any content someone can think up and type into a text box, is harvesting not just venture investment in Silicon Valley but interest in Davos at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting this week.

This is mind-blowing 😱, ChatGPT is taking the world by storm, and this AI tool is coming for classrooms, hospitals, marketing departments, and everything else as the next great startup boom emerges.

🆘AI is coming closer than ever and expanding. Safeguarding will be needed at an exceptional.

What is ChatGPT?

ChatGPT, a chatbot that the startup called OpenAI released in November 2022

OpenAI made its ChatGPT powered by Machine Learning ML, a software application designed to mimic human-like conversation based on user prompts.

GPT-3 is a language prediction model. This means that it has a neural network machine learning model that can take input text as an input and transform it into what it predicts the most useful result will be. This is accomplished by training the system on the vast body of internet text to spot patterns.

My initial impression, like anything in the world there are pros and cons I need my critical thinking skills here before I consume any information and verify it by cross-checking with other resources 🤔

✅I am always excited 😆 about what technology has to offer and how it can help us. It’s part of our lives- the 4th Industrial Revolution whether you like it or not.

⚠️However on the other hand, if YOU are not familiar with technology or not catching up fast enough with the digital world you are missing out altogether on a personal level, at an organisation level or even countries and nations. I am sorry to say you will be considered uneducated.

A 22-year-old is trying to save us from ChatGPT before it changes writing forever.

⚠️This Princeton student built an app which can detect if ChatGPT wrote an essay to combat AI-based plagiarism

⚠️Alarmed by A.I. Chatbots, Universities Start Refurbishing how they teach

With the rise of the popular new chatbot ChatGPT, colleges are restructuring some courses and taking preventive measures.

So, is technology going to make us lose more jobs?

Yes and no. when jobs are lost others are created if not more.

Would I use the new chatbot ChatGPT tool?

I will definitely be using it but I will be mindful of course, I will still be using other sources and cross-checking/referencing. I will verify any information that I am receiving regardless.

Another thought, I am hoping that this will help us become creative not less creative or lazy. But it will save time in the complex world that we live in when used correctly.

AI will be part of our daily lives, period!

I can see there are many future skills that we need to apply here such as:

  • Digital Literacy
  • Data literacy
  • Critical thinking
  • Creativity
  • Curiosity, Continual learning and more

Whether we like it or not technology is here to stay, and we need to catch up fast on personal and organisational level-4th Industrial Revolution

Will ChatGPT replace Google search engine?

What about you are excited about any new technology boom?

My reaction is don’t jump the gun, always see the positive side of any change and be selective.
