I downgraded my LinkedIn account and this happened.

So, I went from a premium member to an ordinary member. Actually, my engagement has increased.

Last week I conducted a poll, The results were interesting %50 said NO, %33 are not sure and %17 YES

I didn’t t care who looks at my profile, if you want a meaningful professional connection and not waste my time you are more than welcome and the same from me when I connect with you that I found your profile inspiring I do reach out.

Since I joined LinkedIn. I have gained great connections here and I have learned so much.

I have been content-creating on social media for years and I have benefited so much from it

I have been creating content on social media for years, it was a self-learning process until I developed my personal brand, still in process 😊

When I joined LinkedIn in late 2019, it was all new to me however I was a here as professional as well as a person. This was a perfect combination for me.

It took me a while again to self-learn, I started gradually creating content, experimenting, and building strategy and I focused on creating content in May 2021.

Reflecting back, it was more than a job-hunting platform, I was able to build my content and my brand.

This was a great reminder that this platform is more than job hunting and a show-off platform.

Why I joined LinkedIn?

I use this platform for meaningful professional connection where we share knowledge, create value, learn from each other, we inspire and get inspired. That applies to all age groups.

We show our personalities as well as our professional side.

You can grow authentically you just have to put in the work.

It is that simple no shortcuts

Don’t worry about the brand, build your content and the brand will eventually be sorted, that’s my experience.
